Overview
Synexcare is a company that specializes in creating IT solutions for diagnosing patients. To accelerate and streamline the process of analyzing heart echos, an idea emerged to create an application that would utilize AI. Data provided in real-time from devices connected to the heart must serve a specific purpose. This ensures that the doctor can quickly receive information and make a decision.
Role & Duration
Lead Product Designer, Visual design, Prototyping & testing

May 2022 - Dec 2022
Target and challenge
The fundamental challenge in this project revolved around workshops with doctors, developers, and PMs. This was to ensure that all stakeholders could address their requirements. Since in this case, something had to be built from scratch, it provided the opportunity to select technologies and design a project process tailored specifically for the project. The primary goal set was to develop an application that could easily read data, analyze it, and provide it to doctors. And all of this for many patients who have a reader directly connected to their heart.
In order to fully understand the issue, the entire process was mapped out with all stakeholders.
Final user flow in the form of ready mockups
Solution
As a result of several months of workshops and prototype testing, an interface was developed that allows for the addition of further modules to the application in the future. Moreover, a key aspect was to display the most extensive history of heart echos and to use filters in a way that the monitored signal could be appropriately scaled for the doctor. The application easily centralized the patient database and their assigned doctors in one place. An entire design system was created, allowing for development while maintaining consistency in both code and appearance.
Results
Initial tests in the developer version confirmed that the tool speeds up the creation of reports. It also improves and hastens the handling of many patients at this time. Additionally, it allows for continuous monitoring from any location in a straightforward manner. The roadmap that has been outlined for the subsequent stages of the application will ensure even better integration with medical systems for remote patient assessment.
